چکیده

Hypermedia is all about structure. Links represent just one type of structure, navigational. Modern hypermedia systems provide support for additional types of structures (hypermedia domains) as well including spatial, taxonomic, and argumentation. This paper examines the user interface challenges of providing support for multiple hypermedia domains inside Web browsers. A framework for investigating the user interface challenges is presented. The framework is used to guide and evaluate a series of experiments targeting the user interface challenges of multiple hypermedia domains.

Designing and Applying Intelligent Interfaces and Hypermedia in Mathematical Modelling on World Wide Web

Intelligent interface design and e-learning have been a focus of multiple scientific researchers at the last years. At the present paper, a new approach based on application of Artificial Intelligence, Hypermedia tools, Systems Theory and e-learning is developed. In this relation, a hypermedia intelligent system applied to OR modelling on Internet has been developed. It has as objectives to hel...

Distributed Knowledge Modeling through the World Wide Web

Knowledge modeling involves the management of many knowledge sources often geographically distributed. The World Wide Web is a distributed hypermedia system available internationally through the Internet. It provides general-purpose client-server technology which supports interaction through documents with embedded graphic user interfaces. This article reports on the development of knowledge mo...

Automating Testbed Documentation and Database Access Using World Wide Web (WWW) Tools

A method for providing uniform transparent access to disparate distributed information systems was demonstrated. A prototype testing interface was developed to access documentation and information using publicly available hypermedia tools. The prototype gives testers a uniform, platform-independent user interface to on-line documentation, user manuals, and mission-specific test and operations d...

Adaptive Hypermedia Systems

This paper examines adaptive hypermedia systems and interfaces. Adaptive hypermedia systems are hypermedia systems that adapt the presentation of material or the navigational support provided according to a user model. This user model may be based on expertise, learning style, or other criteria and may be implemented through a variety of techniques. The goal of adaptive systems is to address th...

Personalized Feedback in E-Learning - Lierature survey

1. Sharing user models for adaptive hypermedia applications In this paper we present an approach to sharing a user model among several adaptive hypermedia applications. Current adaptive hypermedia applications often realize the user model as the internal part of the system without any possibility to share this model with other applications. We introduce a Web service called UMoWS (user model We...
